Building on the theme Inspiration, the 2016 CICan Conference features pre-conference activities, networking sessions, keynotes, panel discussions and workshops, all opportunities to meet inspiring people and to be inspired. CICan and your hosts C gep Garneau, C gep Limoilou, C gep de Sainte-Foy, and Champlain Regional College have planned great learning opportunities and wonderful social activities for you. The program will focus on the following six thematic streams: Leadership and Governance; Teaching, Learning and Student Success; Applied Research; Indigenous Education; Urban Landscape; and Entrepreneurship. Cross-cutting concepts of quality assurance, international, rural, emerging technologies and student engagement will provide opportunities for interaction across streams. Although each stream will be of particular interest to particular groups, they will also appeal to the broader audience. The app is your guide to the Conference and allows you to: View the schedule of all events and see which sessions are currently on Build your own session agenda and add sessions to your device calendar Take notes and view abstracts directly on the app and email them to yourself for later reference Integrate and share Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook View and search for specific exhibitors and sponsors Message other attendees in-app and invite them to chat in person Earn points and advance your position on the Leaderboard for exciting prizes Receive alerts of any program updates, special announcements and much more
